Meet Maddy Raymond

Dietician

Maddy completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at Queensland University of Technology and has since gained valuable experience in both hospital and private practice settings. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a deep passion for supporting individuals through personalised nutrition care.

Maddy has a strong interest in gut health, including managing food allergies, IBS, and IBD. She is also passionate about women’s health, supporting individuals with nutrition for fertility, endometriosis, PCOS, and hormone-related concerns. Understanding the close link between nutrition and mental health, she works with clients to develop sustainable eating habits that support both physical and emotional well-being. Additionally, she enjoys helping individuals optimise their nutrition for sports and exercise, whether they’re looking to improve performance, enhance recovery, or simply fuel their active lifestyle.

Maddy believes in empowering individuals to cultivate a positive relationship with food, creating a safe, compassionate, and client-centred environment where each person’s unique needs and goals are met. She is committed to moving away from a “one size fits all” approach, instead focusing on tailored, sustainable nutrition goals that drive lasting health outcomes.

What’s a dietician v nutritionist?

Dietitians are university-qualified health professionals who provide evidence-based nutrition advice to support people in managing their health. Unlike nutritionists, dietitians are trained to work in clinical settings and use medical nutrition therapy to help manage a wide range of conditions.

A dietitian’s role goes beyond just providing nutrition advice—they conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, offer personalised guidance, and support goal setting for sustainable health improvements. Whether you're navigating food intolerances, managing a chronic illness, or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, a dietitian can provide tailored, practical strategies to help you reach your goals.
